Thanks for taking the time to visit Angkor Hospital for Children's JustGiving page.
The acclaimed hospital in Cambodia for children affected by poverty and disease, Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) was founded in 1999 by renowned photographer Kenro Izu. Deeply moved by his experiences with the local population while photographing the temples in Siem Reap during the early 1990's, Kenro founded Friends Without a Border to raise support for the construction and operations of Angkor Hospital for Children. Today, AHC still has the primary mission to give high quality and compassionate pediatric care to children affected by poverty and disease in Siem Reap Province and beyond. The hospital has grown to support more than 130,000 out patient visits a year and thousands of in patient stays, surgical procedures and home care visits. In addition, the hospital is officially recognized by the Cambodian Ministry of Health as a teaching hospital. To learn more, please visit www.angkorhospital.org
