If you don’t know already, we got to 16 weeks of pregnancy and found out that our beloved baby had some serious health problems. Our baby was diagnosed with Downs Syndrome along with other very serious health issues which meant he wouldn’t make it to full term. We had to make the heart breaking decision to let our little one go to heaven early.
Out of our sadness we’d like to bring some positivity and would love to raise money for Mencap Leeds which is a charity our little one won’t benefit from but other beautiful children and families such as the adorable Adam and his parents and our good friends Jill and Stuart will.
Leeds Mencap works to improve the lives and opportunities of children and adults with a learning disability and their families and carers. Although affiliated with Royal Mencap, Leeds Mencap receive no funding from them and as such they rely entirely on donations, grants, sponsorship and the generosity of the local community.
To all our fantastic family and friends we thank you so much for all the love and support you have given us at such a deeply sad time.
