The Penny Appeal Emergency Response initiative aims to do 2 things:

1. Provide life-saving aid in rapid response to emergencies, disasters and war. 

2. Once these people are have been rescued, Penny Appeal then provide sustainable support for them through their recovery. 

The money we raise is absolutely critical in the ability for Penny Appeal to act fast during a crisis. War, famine, disease, poverty & climate change have immobilised communities in Myanmar, Syria, Yemen, Gaza, Indonesia and East Africa, and Penny Appeal need our support to be able to deploy life-saving medical aid, food, clothing, sanitation and shelter to those who've been left incredibly vulnerable.
