Hello there and thanks for visit my 'JustGiving' page. I am undertaking a sponsored walk from home to Painswick, around 8km. I realise this is quite a challenge but I am determined! It will be in aid of 'Hammer Out', a charity that aims to provide support, raise awareness and fund research in to the causes and cures for brain tumours. Brain tumours are an area of medicine extremely underfunded and yet there is still so much to be learnt. For those of you who don't know (!) I suffer from a brain tumour myself and now have limited use of my right leg. I know just what a diagnosis like this can do to a family.

So far I have only trained in a gym and only managed 2 1/2  km but as the summer holidays approach I hope to drag my long sufferring family out with me...

I have been asked when I will be undertaking this great feat and I have decided it will be on a sunny day in August. Lets hope there is one!
