My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am Specifically raising money for The Special Care Baby Unit within Watford General Hospital - G-3822.
As most of you know Willa was born 9 weeks prematurely on the 1st of October 2010. We were lucky to give birth to her at Watford General Hospital where they have an amazing Special Care baby Unit. Willa was in the SCBU for nearly 6 weeks and we got to see first hand the amazing work the whole team of Doctors, Nurses and support staff there do. Willa would not be here without them and we couldn't have gotten through those 6 weeks without them, it's as simple as that. They need continued financial support to insure that they are able to keep up to date with the best equipment that might just save another babies life.
While I'm a fairly fit person, I am not a natural runner, so this is quite a challenge for me!

Thank you for deciding to support the West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust Charity. We provide funding for extra equipment and better facilities to improve the welfare of all hospital patients in the West Hertfordshire area. We also provide funds to support staff training and education which in turn will better equip our nurses to provide a much higher standard of care.
