My story
On July 1st I will be taking part in a one mile swim in Salford Quays (Lake Windermere was cancelled) for an extremely good cause.
I will be raising money on behalf of Gordon Jayson's research into Ovarian Cancer. Gordon was the doctor for Orly Tenzer, who passed away in 2010 aged 29. For those of you who did not know Orly, she was amazing! Beautiful on the outside and the inside, her brother Yoni is one of my best friends and whenever I would go round to do what we do best and sit on the couch, Orly was always there chatting to us.
My swimming waves takes place at 1pm in Salford Quays. Visit the greatswim.org website to find details of where the starting spot is and if anyone wants to come and watch me (or laugh at me in a wetsuit) you are more than welcome.
Please, please, please help me raise as much money as possible for this amazing cause! Thank you very much to everyone who contributes.
