Anna left us peacefully on the afternoon of 26 January after a two and half year battle with cancer. It was quiet and the sun was shining. We were all gathered at her bedside here at home, holding her hand.
Anna was a wonderful mother, wife and daughter and an exceptional doctor. She was also great activist and was involved with many different charities. Anna believed passionately in helping those less fortunate than her across the globe. She was very closely involved with a locally based development charity, Wells for India. She raised funds for them, visited projects and even opened a school in Rajasthan in 2007. It's a great cause so please give generously in her memory.
