TANDEM PARACHUTE JUMP - SATURDAY 8 MAY 2010

 

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I bet you're all thinking I must be crazy but doing a parachute jump has always been on my "must do" list and I can think of no greater beneficiary for my act of foolhardiness than Willen Hospice where I have been volunteering one day a week for almost three years.  It is a cause very dear to my heart.  All I hope is that I land safely - any broken or damaged bones would severely interfere with my golf, walking and tennis activities.  It goes without saying that you are more than welcome to witness the act (to make sure I really don't have second thoughts at the last minute!)  I can promise you that you will be able to hear my screams of joy (or fear?) for miles around!

Just to update you all, on setting a target of £450 at the outset, I had no idea how generous all my friends would be and can only thank you all from the bottom of my heart.  With this in mind, I have now increased my target amount (this was the minimum amount I had to raise in order to do the jump).
