As many of you know my Mum has a rare genetic disorder called Alpha 1. This conditon effects your lungs and leads to Emphysema.  As a result of her Emphysema her lungs have deteriorated and she is only left with one third of her lung capacity to cope with every day life. As you can imagine this is not easy. That is why I have chosen to raise money for Alpha1 awareness. 

 

Sav and I completed the Marathon on 31st August 2009 in 4hours and 43 minutes.
