I ran the Great North Run on Sunday 20th September in a time of 2 hours 6mins - not bad for a 1st timer! I really enjoyed the day and the challenge of training in the months beforehand (well...retrospectively anyhow...!) and just have to now seal the deal by finishing my fundraising.
Cafod is a charity that works to end poverty worldwide. It promotes long-term development, responds to emergencies, raises awareness of poverty, speaks out on behalf of poor communities, and promotes social justice. I have pledged to raise a minimum of £275 to help them continue with their indispensable work.
It's taken me ages to get round to setting up this account but it's here now and I'm nearing my target. So please, please donate what you can. Thank you so much; I'm really grateful for all your support! :)
