The team at Applied Digital will this year be raising money for the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund due to the experience that Head of Development Andrew Womersley and his wife Keely have been through with their baby son Harris.

Andrew asked us if we would be willing to help him raise money for the charity and of course, we all said yes! And this is why we’re supporting this fantastic cause…with a number of events throughout the year including: 

• First of the Summer Tri - on 15th May, consisting of a 400m swim, 24km bike ride and a 5.7km run!  
  
• Bake Off, the Applied Team will take part in a cake sale on 17th June, inviting local businesses to enjoy cake and donate to our chosen charity. 
• Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on 23rd July, taking on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Inglebrough...all in under 12 hours!
• Skydive, our md Steve will take part in a skydive by flying at 120mph on 18th September, which so happens to be his birthday! 

Children's Heart Surgery Fund is a charity providing support for children and adults born with Congenital Heart Defects. Providing valuable equipment, resources and research, as well as a support service for both the children and their families along the way.
