It was a great opportunity to work with children with liver disease and made me realise the signs and symptoms of liver disease are often non-specific. As a result liver disease may frequently be overlooked which can have devastating consequences. Raising awareness together with CLDF is vital and save lives. Liver disease doesn’t just affect the child and immediate family; the ripples extend to friends and wider family members.
