Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. I am undertaking the arduous task of reading Plain Tales from the Hills by Rudyard Kipling as part of the Asha Nepal Winter Bookathon, in aid of exploited women and children in Nepal.
Asha Nepal www.asha-nepal.org is desperately in need of funds to:
- * look after 15 children who would otherwise be on the streets (Asha took over 100% funding this year but only has sponsorship for 2 children. £30 keeps and schools a child for a month)
- * continue funding their HIV halfway house, helping trafficked women back into Nepalese society
- * fund a clinic for former trafficked women and others in desperate need
- * replenish their emergency fund (gone on the 15 children!)
