Story
During 2010, AVM are hoping to raise £1500 for Cancer Research UK. This will include climbing the 3560ft mountain of Snowdonia on 25th September. £1500 will fund around four microarrays (a powerful piece of gene technology that allow scientists to compare how active different genes are in cancer cells and healthy cells) and also to cover a months trial investigating a new way of giving hormone therapy to improve the treatment of prostate cancer.
