Audrey Rimmer 1928-2011

With sadness, Audrey passed away peacefully in her sleep on 27th December 2011 following a significant period of illness.

Norman, Alan, Julie, Neil and Duncan would like you to remember Audrey for the wonderful times she brought to us all, and for her incredible achievements.  Rather than sending flowers, we are asking friends and family who feel that they would like to contribute, to make a small donation to charities that support her favorite interests.

Audrey loved the mountains, so we have selected the local mountain rescue team.  You can donate on-line now and leave a message if you wish.  Alternatively, she also was a great lover of birds and wildlife, so we would be more than happy to accept off-line donations to the RSPB.  Donations can be made at the funeral or later.

Glossop Mountain Rescue Team are a team of highly trained volunteers providing a search and rescue service to lost, injured and distressed people within the Peak District area of Kinder, Bleaklow and Black Hill. The Team is available 24/7 and rely 100% on donations, which are gratefully received.
