March is Brain Tumour awareness month .As a nurse specialist within this field I am walking Snowdon to mark this and to increase awareness of this rare cancer. The aim is to raise as much as possible to start a Coventry support group for patients and their families, friends and carers.
Snowdon for me is a challenge, this photo was taken last year at the same time, and the weather was extreme...Im hoping for sunshine!!
This group I'm supporting will offer people the oppurtunity to meet others who are experiencing the challenges faced with this diagnosis. It will also provide speakers, social occassions and much needed support for both patients and carers alike .
