About the charity : Facing the World Facing the World
Facing the World is a children's charity which has been set up by the some of UK's leading cranio-facial surgeons. It helps children with severe facial disfigurements in desperate need, living without hope in some of the world's poorest countries, receive the miracle of a new face and a life free from the stigma of disfigurement.

This is the website for participating BACD members and those individuals taking part in this unique fundraising initiative.

In conjunction with Discus Dental, BACD members are volunteering their time to bring smiles to the world.

Through this project members of the BACD are offering teeth whitening products and services for absolutely nothing - hoping to inspire members of the public to donate as much as possible to Facing the World.

We hope that though this initiative not only will participating members of the public receive smiles that they are confident about, but that we will be able to bring smiles to some very special children who are living with severe facial disfigurements, in need of surgery, in countries which do not have the facialities or doctors able to help.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Facing the world will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
