Oxfam Trailwalker Japan 2013 · 10 May 2013

Money raised during Trailwalker goes to Oxfam, to fund their work tackling poverty and suffering. Oxfam works in over 100 countries worldwide.

Story

We are Kate, Ewa, Marinda and Rhiannon and we are embarking on a mammoth journey to raise much neededfunds for Oxfam.  Armed with a vat of Vaseline and vast quantities of chocolate, we are abandoning our families on 10th of May to participate in Oxfam Trailwalker 2013 Japan and complete 100kms in just 48 hours, in the mountainous area of Hakone.

Past donations have been used to implement projects in many of the poorest regions of the world to help end poverty and provide vital relief following natural disasters and conflict. Here in Japan, Oxfam have provided essential support in the aftermath of the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami.  We would like to ensure that this aid continues and would be grateful if you can help us.  Even a small donation will get us closer to our target and give us the encouragement that we need to complete our training.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
