Story

The BBC Londonettes. It was the obvious choice as we are all ladies (!)  - maybe we should have called ourselves the BBC Part-timers, more a reflection on our running skills not our work ethic!

I digress. Thanks for taking the time to get thus far. We are running/walking/being carried around/jogging the Adidas 5k in Hyde Park on Sunday 6th September.

Our charity is the Christian Lewis Children's Cancer Charity. It is Swansea based and is very under-funded. The Christian Lewis Trust are probably best known for their Holiday Programme which range from luxury static caravans on specially chosen sites situated along the UK coast, where the family can get away from the pressures of hospital and treatment, to resort holidays in both Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland Paris. That is only a part of what they do and they work tirelessly and in memory of one little boy who sadly lost his fight for life.

I won't go on but i think it speaks for itself and any spare pennies that you feel you can donate will be gratefully received. Every single one.

Thanks very much - come to the park if your'e around in London that weekend and watch us in our varying states of running - wohoo!!

Thanks again

Jules, Anna, Kate , Nicole , Yemisi , Alice , Chrystal and Valley

p.s. the shoes are Kate's - she borrowed them from a museum
