Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.

To mark the success of British Cycling, this year’s Tour de France starts with three stages in the UK before transferring back to France. The first stage will take the professionals from Leeds to Harrogate via the Yorkshire Dales.

BCO Conference Delegates intend to follow the same 125 mile first stage of the Tour de France, followed by two subsequent days cycling through the Peaks from Harrogate to Buxton and then Buxton to Birmingham in time for the start of this year's Conference.  This is a major challenge - delegates will be cycling a total of 285 miles in 3 days through some of the toughest cycling terrain in the UK.

We would be most grateful for any support you are able to provide to BCO Conference Delegates for undertaking this challenge - the proceeds all go to the nominated BCO Conference Charity, The Jericho Foundation.

The Jericho Foundation is a registered charity helping disadvantaged people overcome social problems and get back into employment. It changes lives through enterprise, offering training, opportunities and work experience to some of the hardest clients in Birmingham.

The 2014 BCO Cycling Challenge is made possible by the generosity of our sponsors Brookfield Multiplex, our lead sponsor, AECOM and Hilson Moran.  We are most grateful for their support.
