Story

THANK YOU EVERYONE TO HAVE MADE IT HERE, I know how many people raise money for charity but I hope this effort to be a little different from the odd marathon!

I am leaving for Istanbul on May 4th, intending to cycle 3000 MILES from Istanbul to Oxford, through the heat and over the mountains. Energy supplied by Hospital Records obviously

via Turkey / Greece / Macedonia / Albania / Montenegro / Bosnia / Croatia / Slovenia / Austria / Germany / France / Luxembourg / Belgium / England

I will be raising money for Help for Heroes (standard behaviour)

8 weeks in total, and putting £2400 of my own money towards it!

Help for Heroes was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry in October 2007 out of a desire to help the wounded Servicemen and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. The message of the charity is simple: We are strictly non political and non critical; we simply want to help. We believe that anyone who volunteers to serve in time of war, knowing that they may risk all, is a hero. These are ordinary people doing extraordinary things and some of them are living with the consequences of their service for life. We may not be able to prevent our soldiers from being wounded, but together we can help them get better.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE IN SUPPORTING ME AND THIS CAUSE!
