The Birmingham Trainee Solicitors Society (BTSS) is a not-for-profit organisation which represents over 500 junior legal professionals in the West Midlands. As part of its charitable work, this year we are supporting the Five of Hearts - a fantastic collaboration of five separate charities in and around Birmingham. For more information on their work, please visit http://www.fiveofhearts.org.uk or http://www.btss.org.
As part of our mission to raise the charities profile, and ultimately greater support for their cause, the BTSS Committee and members are undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge. The team sets off on the evening of Friday 15th July and are required to conquer Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike on 16th July, moving on to Snowdon first thing on the 17th July.
I am proud to announce the Team taking part this year includes Alexander Wild (Nicholls & Co), Christopher Barnett (Weightmans), Ruth Stead (Cobbetts), Linden Thomas (Martineau), Fiona Hargreaves (Mills & Reeve), Aditya Shah (Wragge & Co), Lucy Martin (Shoosmiths) and Cairo Nickolls (Irwin Mitchell). In addition Tammy Paleari, (Gateley) has kindly agreed to act as our designated driver in order to assist the climbers.
Any and all sums raised will be presented to the Five of Hearts for distribution amongst it's many members. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
