Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Sophie (8 years old) and dad (Barnaby) are embarking on a 17km walk across Exmoor with almost 1000meters of climbing to raise money for the Chiltern Centre; a Henley based charity that helps assist families who care for a child with a complex medical need, profound learning or physical disability.

The distance for adult legs is challenging over the course of a day but the real aim is for Sophie to challenge herself, while also raising money for those less fortunate than herself.

We have partnered up with Orlando and his daughter Juno to form the "Chiltern Unicorns". All going well we aim to cover the course in about 8 hours; we will be taking plenty of chocolate snacks for motivation (for the kids).

Please donate what you can to a really worthy cause.

Thanks Barnaby and Sophie

The Chiltern Centre provides bespoke, individualised care to young people with learning disabilities. It gives them opportunities to socialise, learn new skill, move towards greater independence and have fun. All the while it provides their families with a much needed break from their caring role.
