Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and last year they cared for over 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs through their nationwide network of 17 Rehoming Centres. Dogs Trust is working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life free from the threat of unnecessary destruction. They believe no healthy dog should ever be destroyed and that every dog should have a chance to lead a happy and healthy life in a loving home. My story

Wednesday the 16th of September was “National Take your Dog to Work Day” !!

I had a one-day internship in my Dad's team at Killik & Co.

I loved it !

It wasn't too arduous; a bit of meeting and greeting, the odd bit of stock picking and a spot of lunch in Berkeley Square.

I came away with glowing references and hope to be asked back next year.

I've raised plenty of money for my favourite charity - Dogs Trust - and, hopefully, there's more to come.

My dad has said he’ll double whatever I raise - so please dig deep and give generously to help those dogs who aren't as lucky as I am.
