So it&rsquo;s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.</p> <p>So please dig deep and donate now</p> <p>I felt very well in July 2010 and I confidently went to the doctors for my 6 monthly Well Man checkup.</p> <p>This included a prostate specific antigen test (PSA), the results of which advised a hospital visit for further investigation. After extensive tests I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, following which I had consultations with regard to treatment. The decision was made to have a prostatectomy and I had surgery on Christmas Eve 2010.</p> <p>I have recently received the all clear and I am back to 6 monthly checkups.</p> <p>I must give my heartfelt thanks to Rob Mills and his team, the nursing staff and support group for their skill and dedication.</p> <p>All monies donated will be given to the Norfolk Norwich University Hospital Urology Department to purchase equipment for use by patients with urological cancers.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
