Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am coming to you to support me in raising £10,000 to go towards the Paediatric A&E Department at Basildon Hospital.  This will enable children to be away from the husstle and bustle of general A&E and be treated in a more reliable,safe and effective way. 

The whole department will be tailored just for children. This will be brighter, completely child friendly and a lot more fun for them. Ensuring that they have a positive experience at Hospital.

I want to involve the local community as this is something that everyone will benefit from, in the event of you having to go to the Paediatric A&E.  I know myself due to several visits to the Hospital that it can be hard with a child which is why I am doing this to make it a better environment.

I am planning to raise £10,000 by holding the below events:

Fancy Dress Pub Crawl

Sponsored Sculpture Trail Fun Day 

Details of the events:

This evening consists of:

About 8 of us dressing up and going around some of the local pubs in Basildon with Charity Boxes and collecting money.  We will be starting about 19.00pm and then ending the evening over Festival Leisure Park.

Sculpture Trail Fun Day - Held at Wat Tyler Country Park, Pitsea, SS14 4UH. Sunday 30th August from 11.00am - 16.00pm.

The day consists of:

Sculpture Trail where participants will be given a list of questions on each sculpture and guided around Wat Tyler's fantastic grounds and at the end of the trail you will receive a completion certificate so that you can collect your sponsors and if you have not got sponsors to collect, no need to worry, the children/adults can pin the certificate up on their wall to say they have attended the trail and helped support Basildon Hospital.

Also attending on the day will be: Dance Groups, Martial Arts, Cake Stalls, Inflatables, Face Painters, Cider Tent, Refreshments, Only Fools and Horses Trotter Car and much more.  Also, Gateway FM Road Show and the Evening Echo will be covering the day. 

THE KIDS WILL LOVE IT....:-)  SO BRING THEM ALONG
