Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm raising money for The Ann Rowling Clinic.

They help people like me with a variety of neurological conditions, These diseases include multiple sclerosis (MS), motor neurone disease (MND or ALS), Parkinson’s disease and related conditions and dementias.

They are a research facility and clinic in one, working together to develop better treatments though research and clinical trials.

As there is no cure for MS (what I have) as yet I’m going do all I can to help find one. That’s where you come in.

I have agreed to do a range of challenges over the next 12 months. All to help raise awareness and money for this very worthwhile cause.

The first of these challenges is The Original Mountain Marathon which i'm doing  with Simon Willington. This is a 2 day events covering 45km in 9 hours (C Class). This year it is in the Brecon Beacons, you have to carry all your own kit and navigate between check points and go as fast as you can, camping out overnight to continue the following day.

It is fun, honest. I did it last year and really enjoyed it.

If you could help out by making a small (or large) donation, I know that I, and all the people that use the clinic would be extremely grateful.

I have started you off small, as over the next 12 months I hope to raise as much as possible.

Please help us find a cure for all the conditions mention above.

Thanks for your support

Matt Piper
