Treloar School and College provide a unique blend of education, medical care, therapy and independence training for young people with complex disabilities. Students from age 7 to early 20's come from across the UK. In excess of 90% use wheelchairs, 40% have no communicable speech and a further 20% have a life-limiting condition.

My story

Hi,

At the beginning of the 2009 racing season I was granted with a new racing chair, unfortunatly, this racing wheelchair was the wrong size and resricted my success in the 09 season. My coach has found me a new chassis (frame) for the winter training before the season in 2010 and in the run up towards 2012 where I hope to qualify. Unfortunatly, The person I wish to buy the chair from can only keep it for 2 weeks from now! the total cost of the chair is £500 can you support a paralympic hopeful when it counts? Well now is your chance! As everyone has been so kind with reaching my goal I have decided to aim to get some training wheels the reason for this is that, training makes the wheels considerably weaker due to the amount of mileage I do per month, week ect.
