Story
Climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours. Well, it sounded a good idea at the time.
I've never been the sporty type. You'd be more likely to find me watching football than playing it, or in the pub rather than the gym. But I'm attempting to break the habits of a lifetime and undertake the Three Peaks Challenge in support for Kick4Life. Three mountains, over 24 miles long and 2 miles in ascent, and too many hours in a minibus.
K4L is a brilliant charity started by my mate Steve that uses the power of sport to transform the lives of some of the most disadvantaged young people in the world. Based at the Football for Hope Centre in Lesotho in southern Africa, they deliver a range of projects aimed at supporting vulnerable boys and girls. This includes health education and HIV prevention, voluntary HIV testing, life-skills development, mentoring, support towards education & employment, and the chance to enjoy sport...
It’s a great charity so if you sponsor me you can really make a change to people's lives. I'm paying all the costs for the challenge so all money raised goes directly to the charity. So, please dig deep...
Thank you!
Ben
