Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and my wife Kayleigh have a new aim in life ever since our little boy passed away last june aged only 21 months old, to raise as much money as we can for FSID's to stop this horrible thing happening to other parents.

Little Toby was our little angel in disguise and he was taken away from us so unfairly and so quickly that we didn't even have time to say bye to him.....bless you little tobe's.....

I'v decided to do something challenging this summer, with 5 close mates. We have decided to walk the Pennine Way in memory of toby, all of it's 258 miles.  This is usually achieved in 17 days averaging 14 miles a day, we however are going to walk it in 10 days, averaging 30 miles a day, carrying with us all our kit and with no support....This is going to be quite gruelling as we cross the pennines from south to north, but with your support and with all of the memorys i have of little toby, we will get through it and hopefully raise as much money as we can..

Kayleigh is doing some great stuff with our eldest boy Cole's school, she is doing a Chocolate tree raffle and a paint-a-fon just to mention a couple...we have already started collecting raffle prizes for our charity raffle in May....more events to follow.....

FSID's is a great charity and is very supportive through these dark days, their work is second to none and by helping me to raise money, we are helping FSID's to:

Fund Rersearch

Support Families whose babies have died suddenly and unexpectedly

Disseminate information on infant health, baby care and sudden infant deaths to health professionals and the general public

Working with professionals to improve investigatons when a baby dies.

How your Genorisity and my fundraising will help:

£32 pays for 100 families to receive life-saving information about keeping their baby healthy and safe.

£108 pays for one day of helpline support from trained advisors.

£425 will purchase a breathing monitor used by the CONI (Care of the Next Infant) scheme.

£1680 pays for 35 hours of ground-breaking research. This could save the lives of 35 babies. (based on the total funds FSID has spent on epidemiological research and the number of babies’ lives estimated to have been saved due to the infant care advice identified by that research).

£3,000 enables FSID to provide training and support to 23 volunteer befrienders
