<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.</p> <p>I have chosen to raise money for Springboard as through Liz's involvement with the charity over the past five years she has brought home many stories about children who, in the space of a school year, develop from being terrified of words to becoming confident readers in line with their peers.&nbsp;Through co-ordinating volunteer tutors, Springboard provide 1:1 literacy tuition to children with the greatest need which is simply not otherwise available within a school's resources.&nbsp;Without the support on these core skills of reading and writing children struggle to catch up and often this barrier to opportunity lasts a lifetime.</p> <p>Your donation will be invaluable in enabling Springboard to help more young children in inner-city areas.</p> <p>Thank you for your support, and if a UK taxpayer please remember to select Gift Aid with your donation.</p>
