My story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Friday 24th - Sunday 26th September Matthew Bent, Mark Downton, Andrew Morris, Wayne Pryce, Scott Heesom and Christian McKenzie will all be taking to our bicycles and completing the 170 mile Coast to Coast challenge in aid of the Ronald McDonald House at Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool.

This is a cause that is very close to all our hearts as Matthew and his wife Vicky spent quite a lot of time there when their second child was rushed into hospital.  The care given to them by the team was fantastic and we wanted to say a special thank you with our Coast to Coast fundraising challenge.

Bents Garden & Home, where Matthew is MD, each year raises money for a different charity and Ronald McDonald House is this year's Charity of the Year.  The Ronald McDonald family support house at Alder Hey is the largest such house in the world and as a completely independent charity depends entirely upon voluntary donations.

Bents' colleagues and customers have already raised over £3800 and we're hoping to give this figure a really big boost!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
