My personal message:

This Sunday 11th October I shall take part in a half marathon around the nicer parts of central London. (see: www.royalparkshalf.com)

I would like to raise some funds for a great charity, IndependentAge, and would appreciate any support you feel inclined to give. Many thanks.

Here's the standard blurb about IndependentAge.....

Independent Age helps older people to live with independence and dignity in their later years throughout the UK and Ireland. Our practical support enables them to stay in their own homes for as long as possible and lead active and fulfilled lives.

We can also offer:

  • The support and friendship of our volunteers
  • Emergency grants
  • Help with equipment to aid independence
  • New bedding and clothing for hospital stays

Their website (please look) is at: www.independentage.org.uk

And here's the standard blurb about JustGiving........

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
