My story
Six days to go & twenty six miles to run! I can't wait to get to this time next week!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the London Marathon to help raise awareness for Coeliac Disease which my little girl, Lily aged 8, has had for the past six years. She copes brilliantly with it & rarely moans when she misses out. She is now really well & I want to thank Coeliac UK for all their help when Lily was first diagnosed by giving something back.
Next time you eat something, eat in a restaurant or simply do the grocery shopping see if you can make sure nothing has gluten (no wheat, rye, barley or oats) & that nothing gets contaminated (no sharing butter or toasters etc) - it's a constant challenge to make sure your child doesn't get ill!
As a truly terrible runner (& now with a ruined knee) this will be a huge achievement just to get round the course. I am hoping that you will support me in doing this & donate to this worthwhile cause. Anything that you can donate will be very gratefully received.

Coeliac UK is the only charity in the UK, which supports those with coeliac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis. It receives no government funding and is dependent on the generosity of the public to fund practical support, awareness raising and research into the condition.
