Now that the muscle strains and blisters (in the most surprising of places) from our 2007 trip from John O'Groats to Land's End have healed, we've decided to take on something bigger.

From 4th August 2010 we will be cycling across the whole of the USA (about 4200 miles) from Astoria, Oregon to Yorktown, Virginia.  We would really appreciate your support, and knowing that the sponsorship money is increasing as we go will add to our incentive to keep the pedals turning.

The charity in question is dear to both of us as we nearly lost one of our closest school friends to Meningitis.  The Foundation is a great charity which is doing vitally important research.  

The target is big, and we may fall short, but we reckon that it's better to aim high.  All of your donations will go directly to the Foundation and anything that you can give, to get us closer to our goal, would be most gratefully received.
