I work as a social worker in Medway fostering team and Teja (my husband who is an architect) is joining me in Nepal trek 2012 to raise money for the Fostering Network. The Fostering Network is a charity that provides a vital service in supporting foster carers to improve standards of care for fostered children.I want to support this charity because I have seen the skills carers develop in caring for children who cannot live at home.

Teja and I will be climbing Ben Nevis on September 11th to raise funds for our Nepal Trek in May 2012.

Your donations will make a big difference for children.This is the first time we have ever considered such an exciting physically demanding adventure and we are a little nervous. Some days I wake up and wonder what I have got myself into but with the encouragement and support of good friends, our families and our nephews, neices and our three children, we will make it.
