Blue Arrow’s chosen charity for 2010 is The Joshua Foundation (TJF). Throughout the year, we will be running a number of different campaigns, the first of which is the way we celebrate the festive season.
Instead of sending cards and presents, we have made a donation of £1,000 to TJF to start the ball rolling towards our target of at least £50,000.
If you would like to help us reach our target for this very worthwhile cause, then we would welcome your donation which will go towards one of the many holidays and experiences available to children and their families, where the child is diagnosed with terminal cancel. For example:
* It cost just £400 to send two young children & their dads to a rugby match in a limousine & to meet the players
* It cost just £500 for a young boy and 15 family members to have a Chinese meal
* A family trip costs £1500 per family
* A family Disneyland trip can cost about £1500 for a long weekend in or £3000 for a week in
Where other ‘wish’ organisations may only provide one-off experiences, TJF effectively 'adopts' children and their families providing them with on going experiences.
