Really excited to have such a generous response to my fundraising efforts.  I have had fabulous encouragement and strong advice and feel extremely privileged to be in a position to help raise funds and awareness of this amazing project and charity.

To remind you again, Winchester College is working with a charity called Lotus Flower Trust in India and next Easter, I shall be joining a school team travelling to Tarsaal in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India.  We shall be working towards the completion of a new primary school which another school team began building this year.  We need extra money to extend the school further, decorate it, start on proper lavatories, a kitchen, a hostel and provide books, stationary, toys and equipment.

For my effort, I am attempting to traverse 25 miles off-piste in one day across Utah’s Wasatch Mountain Range backcountry terrain whilst the family is there in December.

All money will go directly to the charity.  More information on the Trust can be found at www.lotusflowertrust.org who have been working in the area for some time.
