There have been some changes to our plans!!! Just to let you know we haven't actually started any serious fundraising yet largely because we haven't been able to decide when we are going to do this challenge. While we initially thought we would be going in Sept of 2008 it didn't seem right to leave Theo (our wee one) behind while she was still so wee. So we have postponed the actual trip until early 2012 giving us more than enough time to hopefully really get into the fundraising... and plus Theo should be over 4 might be able to come with us!

Below is a brief description of our plans and the work that MERLIN does...
We are going to trek, cycle and raft the Sabah region of Borneo for 2 weeks. We have been very keen to do something like this for a while now and are really looking forward to the challenge and to getting a chance to see Borneo. More importantly however we are particularly keen to raise as much money as possible for MERLIN which is a fantastic organisation doing some incredible work.
MERLIN's main purpose is to provide emergency medical relief in times of disaster, natural or man-made. While they aim to respond rapidly to emergencies they also work over the long term to build lasting health care systems. Find out more about their work and other ways of giving at:
