The Semerwater swim successfully completed (£800 raised for sue Ryder..Thanks for all your help ) I was looking for another Dales Challenge and Yorkshire charity to support.

I drive around the Yorkshire 3 peaks every day, so this challenge to walk them all in 12 hours in aid of the fabulous Cave Rescue Organisation is just perfect.

The slight snag is that I have not yet walked all 3 Peaks. I have done 1 and 2 peaks but never yet all of them.The walk is 24.5 miles (39.2km) long and takes in over 5,000 feet (1,600 metres) of climbing. The walking is over a variety of terrains, and certain sections can still be very boggy and energy sapping.

Oh , and the challenge time is 12 hours, but on the 12th  November there arent 12 hours of daylight!! Its also pretty cool that time of year. Bracing.

Add to that 54 year old dodgy knees and ankles and it all looks pretty challenging!
