i Foundation is a charity that has been set up to build a transitional
home for abandoned babies and young children in Uganda. Largely due to
the HIV/Aids pandemic and overwhelming poverty, many babies and young
children are simply left to die. The plan is to 'provide a safe haven'
with educational and medical facilities and 'ultimately to place these
children into secure and happy families'.
As most of you
know I should be able to cycle 100km and may even enjoy it. However,
following my trip to South Africa earlier this year I would like to
make a difference in some way to the problems of Africa so please
support me by giving something, however small. There are more than 50
people on my circulation list and the first eight who donated were very generous. If the remainder of you all give £5 each I'd beat my target.
Obviously if some of you can give more and tick the gift aid box as
well, that would be even better.
