Story

On the 1st to 3rd August 2012, Ben Miller, Sean McFarlane, Duncan Conner and Christian Olsson will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Marathon Playing a Boardgame.  The attempt will take place at Bus Stop Toy Shop, Irvine Road, Largs, Scotland and we'll be attempting to go past the current mark of just under 54 hours, playing the fantastic Small World (with the Underground expansion) manufactured by Days of Wonder.

Of course, we're doing this for a very, very good cause - the Children's Hospice Association Scotland and we'd love to raise a helpful amount of money for them.  That's where you guys come in.  If you can afford to donate £1 - thank you.  If you can afford £10 - thank you too.  Please give generously - the money gets very well used.

You'll be able to find updates on how we're doing on the Bus Stop Toy Shop Facebook page and hopefully we'll be able to bring you live streaming of the attempt too.  Watch this space.

About the charity

We're Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). We care for children throughout Scotland with life-shortening conditions and their families. We make sure that no matter how short their time together may be, it is filled with happiness. Even in the pain of grief, we're determined that joy lives on.
