Hello Friends, Supporters and Family,
Please don't be scared of donating this is a legitimate and secure way of donating direct to Cancer reseach via our page.
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
The online sponsor page has a Target of £1000 pounds, especially setup for people who can't sign onto paper Sponsorship forms. Most money collected locally will be via paper sheet off line, but if you live too far away this is the best way to pay.
The cycle route is from Sunderland Harbour to Whitehaven harbour going by the Sustrans C2C challenge route.
The donations from this are made in Tribute to our Dad Peter Hiller and our son in-laws Dad Bernard Drugan who both are sadly missed due to Cancer. Hopefully your contribution no matter what size will make a difference in the near future to others diagnosed with this illness.
We have setup a facebook group to raise awareness to this cause and the event. Updates will be added on there as well as links to this page.
Feel free to contribute even after the ride as we will be collecting for at least 3 months after Easter.
This method will help those who aren't in reach of my sponsor sheets, but I hope you find this method of payment useful and even easier than handing over cash. See link back to my facebook group page below
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.

Well we finally completed the ride on Easter Sunday. Loads of photos posted on Facebook pages.
Many thanks to those who have donated and pledged to date. Experienced some Snow, only 1 puncture (Poor Alan 10 miles into the journey). No crashes, hard rides followed by plenty of grub sleep and more grub.
Special thanks to Paul and Sara for the lift(s) to Sunderland with people and bikes. Also to Becky for sorting Richond pub and the crowd that greeted us back home on the Whitehaven Harbour side.
Up date £925 collected by Brian
Alan and Peters final amount to be posted soon
