My story
Namaste and thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page!
If you're a newcomer then let me briefly tell you that last year just over £2,300 were raised for the Mondo Foundation. A hefty sum which has paid for the foundations of a new school in Kalimpong and also for a training course which was attended by over 100 teachers from the Darjeeling area.
I volunteered in Kalimpong (West Bengal) through the Mondo Foundation some years ago and ever since have continued lending my support to the schools and teachers in the area. Ritesh Pradhan, the school's headmaster keeps me updated with the
Therefore, in order to help this very good cause, I will be swimming 4km, burning some rubber on my bike for 120km and then topping off the race by running 30km. I've got the training gear on, the attitude and certainly the motivation to carry this through. All I need now is your generous contribution to get me to the finish line... ideally in vertical position!!

MondoChallenge Foundation works at grassroots to support education and livelihoods.in Nepal, NE India (Kalimpong/Darjeeling) and in Tanzania, where we help women with HIV to set up businesses. Our partners abroad welcome volunteers to help in these projects and we run an active Ambassador scheme.
