CHGN is a self-funded project of InterHealth. The network is in urgent need of funds in order to continue providing services and support to community health programmes worldwide.
Your valued donations will go towards: a) Website hosting, support and maintenence, b) Cluster coordination and support, c) Core Costs and Salaries (for 2 part-time staff) and d) CHGN networking, capacity building and training.
Why give to CHGN?
Poor health hits people living in poverty the hardest. Unable to access, let alone afford health services, their recovery process is restricted and their ability to sustain a livelihood and break out of poverty becomes a daily battle.
However, community-based healthcare aims to raise awareness and empower communities to prevent the disease in the first place. CHGN supports, connects and resources primary health programmes worldwide to work more effectively with each other and the vulnerable communities they serve. When communities put their skills and knowledge into action, the suffering caused by preventable diseases (such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, malnutrition…) is significantly reduced.
Every penny is precious and has the potential to make a real difference.
