Weather permitting, the Newcastle Santa Run 2009 will take place on Sunday 6th December. This is a 4km run around Exhibition Park in aid of the Sunshine Fund, a charity which provides specially adapted equipment and learning aids to disabled children in the North East. The charity is supported by Hay and Kilner and William's company, Graphite Resources, and we both have first hand experience of families who have benefitted from equipment provided by the Fund. This is Lucy's first run and we are hoping that she doesn't embarrass us by running too fast!
