Light Up A Life
As we head towards Christmas it’s a time of celebration and sharing, but also a time to reflect with friends and family.
Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity invites everyone, not just those touched by hospice care, to celebrate the memory of loved ones at this special time of year.
Light Up A Life is an annual appeal, launching this year, with the hope to raise thousands of pounds of vital funds, enabling the hospice charity to continue to provide support to the hospice and over 3000 patients each year.

The Light Up A Life Appeal launches with a special service being held at Winchester Cathedral on Monday 16th November 2009, starting at 7pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event to celebrate and remember the life of someone special.
The service is being led by the hospice Chaplains and the Canon of Winchester and will be followed by some light refreshments.
Hundreds of lights will then be lit at the hospice, each one shining out to Light Up A Life in memory of someone special. The lights will shine every night at the hospice until 5th January 2010.
You will bring light to the hospice
Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity this year will be funding nearly £900,000 of additional support to Countess Mountbatten House, a specialist palliative care service covering South Central Hampshire.
This funding is over and above that provided by the NHS, meaning every penny we provide is being used to enhance the care given to more than 3000 patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers each year.
£25
could enable a patient to enjoy a complimentary therapy session£100
