Build on Books is the codep  literacy campaign, working with local communities in Sierra Leone, one of the world’s poorest countries, to ensure that everyone has a chance to read.

We are sending hundreds of thousands of books from the UK to create school libraries in Sierra Leone, providing a more promising future for the children of this war damaged country.

To find out more about Build On Books and Sierra Leone click here or email bobappeal@codep.co.uk

Your donations will help us get the book to Sierra Leone, make sure that there is a library for the book to go in, provide trained staff who can teach people how to use the books, and help codep to continue to make this all possible.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

So please dig deep and donate now.
