My story

We are competing in the London Duathlon 2012 to raise money for Connor Nightingale's SDR Appeal.

Connor is 8 years old and has cerebral palsy.  He has Spastic Diplegia, which means he cannot walk unaided because his muscles are too tight, he has poor balance and is unable to keep his feet flat on the ground.

There is an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR), pioneered in America, which can permanently reduce his spasticity - meaning he will be able to walk unaided and lead a normal life.

However, the surgeries, flights, accomodation and ongoing physiotherapy are very expensive.

We need your donations to help his dream to walk come true.
