Children with Diabetes (CWD) UK is a patient led voluntary organisation supporting children and families with Type 1 Diabetes in the UK.

Members of CWD UK are dedicated to finding a cure for this condition and want to channel their fundraising activities to the charitable organisation Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or JDRF.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation exists to find the cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications, and is the world's largest charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research. It was founded by a small group of parents of children with type 1 diabetes who recognised that insulin injections are not the cure for this life threatening and lifelong condition.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Help fund a cure

We aim to find new ways to treat type 1 diabetes and its complications, prevent type 1 from developing and find the cure for people who already have the condition. We also help educate those affected by the condition, healthcare professionals and the general public.
